Who we are

The Cosmic Curiosity app is a private tool operated by Ali Emre Kaya (contact: aliemrekaya61@gmail.com) to publish videos to the Cosmic Curiosity YouTube channel (@aekcosmiccuriosity) and to the owner's other YouTube channels.

Who uses the app

Only the channel owner signs in to the app. It is not available to the public and no other person's Google account is used.

What data the app accesses

• Through the YouTube Data API, with the owner's permission: the owner's own channel names, IDs and statistics, the owner's own videos, playlists and caption tracks, and the ability to upload videos and captions to those channels.
• OAuth tokens for the owner's own accounts, stored privately so that uploads can run on a schedule.

What the app does not do

• It does not access, collect or store data about viewers, subscribers or any other YouTube user.
• It does not sell, rent or share any data with third parties, and it does not use data for advertising.

Retention and deletion

The owner's tokens are kept only while the tool is in use and can be revoked at any time at myaccount.google.com/permissions, which immediately stops all access. Records of uploaded videos (titles and video IDs) are kept for the channel's own bookkeeping.

Google policies

The Cosmic Curiosity app uses YouTube API Services. By using YouTube you are bound by the YouTube Terms of Service; Google's handling of data is described in the Google Privacy Policy.
